About this Position:

This position provides direction and makes final decision for all activities relating to Honda and Acura Service Marketing in order to increase Customer Pay Repair Orders, parts, and accessory sales for AHM by driving customers to dealerships for vehicle maintenance and repairs. This role is responsible for the department operating budget and putting programs in place that generate revenue for AHM. This is a key position in growing the Parts and Service business for Honda and Acura dealers by ensuring the right communications and tools are in place to support the dealers. The Unit Head managers strong working relationships with multiple internal contacts and third-party vendors. This position requires in dept knowledge of dealer sales/service/parts operations. This Unit Head will be Lead Project Leader (LPL) or Project Leader (PL) on multiple special projects.

Responsibilities include:



  • Develop and implement the service marketing strategy to support overall dealer business growth and participation in service marketing programs and help American Honda with future applications, including new technologies. Maintain dealer satisfaction and engagement with Lifetime Customer Care (LCC) and Precision Crafted Service Communication (PCSC). Maintain budget to increase revenue and lower expenses on a fiscal year basis
  • Increase Customer Pay Repair Order (CPRO) Growth for Honda and Acura dealers
  • Increase Customer Service Retention for both Honda and Acura
  • Dealer Utilization of LCC and PCSC to support business growth in service and parts
  • Manage service marketing staff, support on-going cross training of initiatives and projects. Support associate growth and development
  • Effectively manage zone field, dealer, and executive management relationships. Prepare and deliver presentations and present new initiatives to all levels of management for 100% engagement and understanding of new programs


Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:



  • 10+ years' work experience in parts/service, sales, marketing and customer service or dealership operations
  • Automotive retail/wholesale experience a plus
  • Previous marketing position preferred


Required Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or related degree or equivalent work experience
  • Prior management experience is required


Desired skills:



  • Exceptional MS office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) iEXAM software for financial statement analysis
  • Analytics experience needed
