  • Hours: 24hrs flex 32hrs
  • Shift: Day shift; Weekend and holiday rotation; Evening/night rotation as needed
  • Location: Urgent Care - Wareham, MA

We are searching for a Radiology Technologist to perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within assigned modality as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patients' chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self and others and aware of MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures. Perform Front Desk and Medical Assistant Functions. Provide functional or technical supervision of radiology aides (imaging assistants), other assigned non-technical employees and other practitioners, as applicable. Assist with ongoing quality assurance activities as assigned

Education and/or Experience Requirements:



  • Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island is required based on location assignment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus and provide required vaccination documentation unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
