Gallery/Studio Program Teaching Artist (P/T, Temporary)-Education
The Brooklyn Museum seeks a Teaching Artist to teach our fall 2022 Vitality Arts course in the Gallery/Studio Program. Vitality Arts seeks to provide adults ages 55 and older with opportunities for creativity and learning new art forms while building community with peers. The Teaching Artist will lead a course based on the works of Nellie Mae Rowe and explore how a self-taught artist established a practice later in life. Candidates from backgrounds underrepresented in the field of museum education are especially encouraged to apply. Requirements:
