Job Responsibilities The Global Infrastructure Team at Viasat provides a highly available, scalable, and secure platform that powers our commercial and government products and services. This platform spans public cloud and on-premises infrastructure and involves a fair amount of open-source software. As a software engineering intern you will contribute to the design, architecture, and end-to-end deployment of applications primarily hosted on Linux. Your duties will cover a large array of tasks from automating deployment, troubleshooting issues, as well as creating deployment frameworks and pipelines for CI/CD managed systems. Requirements * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field * Experience building automation solutions * Experience with Linux system administration * Experience with common CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, github, docker, etc. * Ability to commit to a 10-12 week summer internship Preferences * Experience building automation solutions * Experience with Linux system administration * Experience with common CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, github, docker, etc. To learn more about this site and other office locations, please click ! For United States-based jobs only: The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $70.00 hourly ; however, base pay may vary within this range depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
