Job Description:

The Data Manager will support the launch of the WCWH longitudinal study. Some in-person work will be required. This position will begin as a year assignment that can extend based on performance and/or continued funding.

Job Details:

Responsibilities
  • Implementing assessments in RedCap

  • Assisting with data collection

  • Organizing data

  • Monitoring and addressing issues of data quality

  • Calculating summary statistics about data

  • Managing data sharing agreements

  • Assisting researchers with access to data

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree with 2 years experience as a project coordinator

  • Experience working with physiological recordings or other time-series data.

  • Experience with using Linux, especially navigating the filesystem, searching for data, and copying / moving data.

  • Experience with a scripting language such as BASH, Python, or Perl.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have attention for detail and meticulously organize and maintain data from a variety of sources, including psychometric assessments, sensor data, biomarker data, and laboratory results.

  • Two or more years of experience collecting and managing large-scale experimental data for human subjects research.

  • Proficient at scoring standardized self and interviewer -administered assessments.

  • Experience working with HIPAA and other sensitive data.

  • Experience assessing data, and in particularly identifying outliers and poor quality data.

  • Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word and Outlook. Ability to efficiently navigate the file system, search for data, and archive data using cloud-based tools like Box.com.

  • Extensive experience using RedCap to design assessments, administer studies, and maintain collected data.

  • Experience calculating summary statistics and performing basic analyses using R.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with researchers from a variety of disciplines.

Salary Range

$55,000+ depending on qualifications
