MOTOR EQUIPMENT REPAIRMAN
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND PARKS
CITY OF WORCESTER

The Department of Public Works & Parks seeks applicants interested in the full-time position of Motor Equipment Repairman. Typical duties include repair and maintenance functions on a wide variety of municipal vehicles in a modern, clean and well-lit garage. Prior professional experience as a mechanic is required. Successful query from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Clearing House.

Full uniform service provided free of charge. Annual bonuses ranging from $1,560 to $3,640 for select ASE certifications; also receive $150 annual boot allowance. Specialized technical training offered on an ongoing basis. Employees in this classification are eligible for overtime. Shift work may be required.

Starting Salary: $25.20 per hour, full-time employment opportunity, with an excellent benefits package.
