Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works with Sales and Account Management in a liaison role between the health plan and regional/corporate teams and offering local sales support
  • Works as a liaison between sales and brokers/agencies
  • Offer support related to major initiatives and miscellaneous projects in health plan
  • Learn how to navigate a matrixed organization supporting our clients with some of their toughest challenges

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree must be obtained prior to start of employment or obtained degree no longer than 24 months prior to position start date, from an accredited college/university
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance. Candidates must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years work or volunteer experience in customer service, health care, or health insurance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
