About this Position:

Process design associate responsible for developing safe and efficient processes in 4WD / AT utilizing M.O.S.T . Managing part delivery locations lineside best suited for process layout. Packaging design approvals.

Responsibilities include:



  • Using M.O.S.T to develop balanced processes across manufacturing areas. Working to achieve high process efficiency. Applying Lean Manufacturing techniques. Designing processes that are simple and achieving SQCDM targets
  • Auditing and maintaining data to ensure accurate information across all operation standards
  • Performing time estimates for production processes and developing Operation Standards.
  • Identifying and implementing ergonomic countermeasures to prevent associate injury
  • Support New Model Events. Identify concerns and countermeasures before mass production
  • Develop plans and schedules for projects as needed
  • Provide project support for evaluation as needed develop a summary on process impacts as needed
  • Ensure lineside racks are set up for process delivery when changes are made to the line
  • Packaging representative for the Assembly Department. Work with SCO to confirm any packaging changes occur
  • Develop the capability of self, colleagues, and team through training, mentoring, and sharing experience.
  • Collect feedback from the production floor and line staff and address concerns as needed
  • MLS



Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:



  • 0-4 years of manufacturing experience based on education



Required Education:



  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required



Desired skills:



  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dealing with conflict and empowerment to escalate (consensus-building skills)
  • M.O.ST
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Demonstrated ability to respond immediately to production floor needs and requirements
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the SEQCDM guidelines/requirements within the area of responsibility
  • Ability to manage time and multi-task
  • Business Plan knowledge
  • PDDA Knowledge
  • AutoCAD / Catia drawing updates as needed
