About this position:

The ability to produce quality parts in a timely and efficient manner.

Your responsibilities:

* Accountability of Parts and Suppliers assigned to buyer - Manage supplier activities and QC event readiness from maker layout through mass production transition.

* Part Inspections - Confirming parts to Honda drawing and taking measurement of actual parts

* Supplier Interaction (New Model Review -NMR) - Evaluating supplier project performance from tool progress to shipping parts for QC events / Mass Production

* Monitoring Supplier Activity (Tool Schedules and SAP's) - Manage supplier project activities by monitoring supplier SAP and ensuring that the tooling schedule is on task with Honda milestones.

What you need to be successful in the role:



  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, word & powerpoint), able to work in Team environment, flexible schedule: ability to adapt to changing priorities, analytical problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills (by phone, in person and e-mail), ability to manage multiple tasks by prioritizing and balancing workload, able to work independently with minimal supervision, show initiative and act independently to resolve problems.



Required Work Experience:



  • A minimum of 1 year experience in the above fields.



Required Education:

Two-year Technical degree or relevant in Purchasing, Quality Control, Business or Engineering
