MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must have: Active security clearance, CSWF II (Linux), Privileged Access Agreement (PAA)
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, engineering, business, mathematics or physics or other related scientific or technical discipline from accredited University with 3 years computer programming experience in related Government projects Or Ten years of experience in design, analysis and development of hardware/software systems in related Government projects
  • 3 years of experience working with embedded software development, embedded system/software architecture, systems engineering, utilizing an agile development methodology with proven delivery to production
  • 2 years of experience applying agile programming principles and methodologies


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • 2+ years of experience in system wide analysis, primarily with respect to software interface development for network and web base compatibility, reliability, maintainability, and availability
  • Experience in importing open source content required for information web sites and the ability to correct formatting problems during importing
  • 2 years or more experience to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software-programming applications in DIJ products
  • Supports and/or installs embedded software applications
  • Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish development and testing tasks
  • Participates in a development and production team environment; works well with development and fielded system product improvement defect resolution processes
