Summary:
Our vision for this position is to ensure the execution of all maintenance work control processes through effective planning of all resources to conduct maintenance activities while maximizing resource productivity and minimizing customer business interruptions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Key/Enter receipt or distribution information daily, supporting real time inventories.
  • Maintain the tool crib stockroom operation working to specific procedures and/or work instructions


  • Review Work Orders to be performed (consult with customer, leads, supervisors, originator, production supervisors and other planner/scheduler as necessary) to determine the optimum way to accomplish the work.
  • Work with Maintenance Team Leader to schedule and track PMs
  • Determine time estimates for reactive/corrective work orders.
  • Kit material or spare parts for specific work orders supporting maintenance or manufacturing.
  • Approach all aspects of the work to be performed with safety as the highest priority in accordance with Environmental, Health and Safety Policies, as well as, quality standards.
  • Keep accurate metrics on the performance of planning functions and provide timely reports to management, as required.
  • Assist in the evaluation and planning the tool crib area for effective utilization and growth
  • Continuously improve job performance by obtaining feedback from maintenance team members, engineers, production, customers, etc.


Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience


  • Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • 5 years' experience in related field


Skills and Abilities


  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Computer Data Entry experience with a high degree of organizational skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.


Additional Competencies


  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a timely manner with a production environment.


Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk, climb or balance, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
