Senior Manager, Center for Audit Solutions - Pension Operations Lead (Remote Opportunity)

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the execution of Pension testwork for audit engagements in accordance with relevant regulatory and professional auditing and assurance standards
  • Maintain a working knowledge of and research findings regarding accounting literature, trends and technical issues
  • Lead members of the onshore and offshore teams as part of a new Center of Excellence (COE) to deliver service to engagement teams
  • Liaise with engagement teams and manage feedback; collaborate internally and cross functionally to refine operating processes of the COE to increase efficiency and effectiveness of team
  • Provide input into the vision and strategy around the COE expansion
  • Embrace the culture for the COE team and mentor members in their career development; understand and utilize KPMG's Audit Methodology

Qualifications:

  • Minimum seven years of current and/or recent financial statement audit experience within a public accounting firm with demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited college/university and licensed CPA in their home office state
  • Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Public Company Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing Standards
  • Adhere to the firm values and code of conduct
  • Experience auditing Pension balances and performing controls testwork
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to meet challenging client requirements, along with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical skills and research abilities

Sacramento Salary Range: Low: $114500 - High: $199500


Colorado Salary Range: Low: $109000 - High: $190000
