Nurse Educator - PACE/Elderplace

This is a hybrid position that will work remotely and traveling to sites.

The Clinical Educator provides expertise and serves as a role model, consultant and educator to Providence PACE and Housing staff and leaders. This position functions as a collaborative partner to develop a staff development program that is built on the foundations of the Providence Mission and PACE philosophy to support staff and leaders to transform the lives of those we serve. The Clinical Educator provides support to Core Leaders and staff to enhance the care and services by providing a robust onboarding process and ongoing learning opportunities.

This position performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concepts and reflects the Providence Health & Services mission, philosophy, and core values of respect, compassion, justice, excellence and stewardship.

Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits and more. Join our team to help empower elders in your community to live active, independent lives.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years Inpatient, home health, hospice, or long term care experience
  • 1 year Nursing or healthcare education and curriculum development using a variety of adult teaching methods
  • Clinical review and audit activity experience
  • Infection Control activities (identification, surveillance, investigation, and prevention) experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1 year Electronic medical record (EPIC)

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
