Description THE ROLE The Chief Executive (CE) will be a well-respected, experienced healthcare executive who is committed to advancing the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center (PSVMC) ministry. The CE will ensure continued growth, innovation, and delivery of exceptional care. Working collaboratively with the Oregon Executive Council, community ministry board, medical staff and PSVMC executive management team, the incumbent will articulate a strategic vision that differentiates PSVMC in a competitive and changing marketplace. They will be accountable for continued organizational growth, operating results, quality and advocacy for patients, families, physicians, and employees. The leader will promote a culture in line with PSVMC Center's mission, vision, and values. The CE will exhibit servant leadership and compassion for the workforce. They will work to strengthen physician engagement and to promote employee engagement and community relations. The incumbent will provide leadership to ensure the delivery of high quality, patient-centered, cost-effective healthcare consistent with the organizational mission, vision, and goals, and in accordance with the healthcare needs of the communities served. In addition to this position's primary focus as the CE of PSVMC, this individual will be a senior leader within the larger Providence Oregon service area. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS Education:
Experience: At least ten years of significant leadership experience in a health care delivery organization is required. The Chief Executive should have personal values compatible with those of Providence and be comfortable administering a Catholic-sponsored organization. In addition, the following:
