Job Summary:

The Mobile Product Consultant will assist in the development and execution of develop and execute mobile initiatives and projects, primarily focused on the product lifecycle for the Allstate Mobile application and the other mobile properties, consistent with business strategies. He/she will also serve as a team and company resource in the areas of mobile engagement and e-Business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports delivery of the consumer-focused product mobile roadmap, making adjustments as needed based on consumer needs, resource allocation, technology delivery and corporate priority
  • Serves as a business-side point of contact, leveraging existing technologies and resources within the organization to achieve goals;
  • Coordinates customer communication programs that raise awareness and drive usage of the mobile self-service channel
  • Analyzes market intelligence and business results to translate emerging trends into business opportunities, as well as identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies as appropriate;
  • Participates in the management of vendor relationships and ensures information flows between business teams and vendor for successful completion of projects
  • Stays abreast of digital media consumption and technology trends in mobile and related areas (e.g. social, search, etc.) to serve as a subject matter expert and resource to internal stakeholders
  • Assists with branded mobile application development and other mobility projects (e.g. SMS, QR codes, etc.) as needed
  • Identifies e-Business needs and requirements of other business units and AORs, and executes programs to meet these needs

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 or more years of related experience
Functional Skills:
  • Proven expertise in marketing, with specific experience in digital marketing, including e-commerce and/or mobile
  • Proven technical acumen, with an interest in emerging technologies and basic understanding of system architecture
  • Ability to understand a specific customer value proposition and communicate it to various stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively understand data, analyze results, draw insights and conclusions, and recommend appropriate actions in an atmosphere of fact-based decision-making
  • Strong consumer disposition with ability to define and communicate consumer-centric business requirements to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively translate and communicate technical information in a meaningful way to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Excellent project management and organization skills, experience working along side technical delivery teams and strategic/creative resources
  • Demonstrate a collaborative approach to achieving business results

Compensation offered for this role is$56,600.00-$91,850.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
