Manager, Distribution Centers - Learning & Development

JOB DESCRIPTION

Levi Strauss & Co is seeking a Manager, DCs - Learning and Development, with experience and passion to lead the organizational and individual capabilities of people managers throughout our Global Distribution Center network. The Manager, Learning and Development will play a key role in developing comprehensive implementation plans for the design and delivery of learning and development solutions. The Manager, Learning and Development, will create critical solutioning and deliver the enterprise training portfolio required to achieve Distribution Global strategic and annual plans.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs analyses of current programs and resources and design employee capability strategy in partnership with Sr. Director HR, Talent Management, Diversity & Equity & Inclusion (DE&I); recommend modalities, experiences, and development programming relevant for the Distribution Center audiences. Develop shared definitions, outcomes to drive the business forward, programming, and assessment practices for identified groups
  • Customize, design, and launch Global people leader programs (team effectiveness, coaching, manager transition programs, etc.) that drive people manager capability with emphasis on the manager as a coach; recommend and implement activities, interactions, resources, and technology to ensure an effective learning environment
  • Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of people manager programs and capabilities including new manager onboarding and learning opportunities
  • Assess and gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to refine and ensure people manager programs and experiences remain impactful and meet objectives; communicate these findings as appropriate
  • Partner with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion L&D team to embed inclusion and diversity practices into people manager programs
  • Partner with L&D and Talent Management teams to grow the Distribution Centers' footprint of manager programming
  • Consult and partner with business leadership, HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, HR communications and other stakeholders as needed
  • Design marketing strategies to promote transparency and awareness of development opportunities
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions as necessary for people leader programs and other L&D programs as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong execution of Global programs with results of growing and developing internal talent
  • Develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with a positive attitude
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, adept at developing and maintaining effective working relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Proactive and highly organized with strong time management skills; able to set and manage expectations and competing priorities
  • Proven ability to roll out and manage talent solutions on large scale from concept, to planning, to implementation, to results measurement
  • Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to manage group dynamics
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom
  • Tech Savvy and experience with (or the ability to pick up quickly) tools like Qualtrics, Mentimeter, Canva, etc
  • Knowledge of Workday Learning (or other LMS) a plus
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years combined work experience in learning & development, instructional design, content development and delivery, workshop facilitation, workforce performance improvement initiatives, organizational development and change management in Distribution Center environments.
  • Ability to travel up to 25 percent
  • Remote or Las Vegas/ Henderson, NV area or Cincinnati /Hebron, KY area

The expected starting salary range for this role is $93,500- $145,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
