Description

The Senior Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) has knowledge of Oncology and other specialty diagnoses, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venours access devices. The Senior Infusion RN applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings. Servers as a mentor for journey level Infusion RNs. The Senior Infusion RN assists with orientation, training and education of clinic personnel and Infusion RNs.

Required Qualifications:



  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing school And
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or In Lieu of BSN: Associate's degree in Nursing AND 4 years' experience as a registered nurse
  • Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License Or
  • Upon hire: National Registered Nurse Compact License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: Unencumbered Registered Nurse License in state(s) of hire, and wherever care is delivered. If RN holds a multi-state license through the Nurse Licensure
  • Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of licensure in the new state(s) of hire
  • Upon hire: OCN (oncology nurse) certification or other national infusion certification
  • 3 years Infusion nursing experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 2 years Ambulatory nursing experience
