About this Position:

Leads all aspects of the Assembly Departments. Responsible for managing systems, procedures, conducting analysis, tracking, and reporting results and certifying Compliance to ensure acceptable quality. IsoQuest setup/verification, production front line leadership training, and overall support for Quality Managment Systems, this position ensures the production team's daily readiness to build cars of the highest value for the customer.

Responsibilities include:



  • Develop, understand, and enhance Quality Management System knowledge to share with the department associates to ensure comprehension and compliance.
  • Align department documentation systems to maintain consistency with Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc., North American (NA) and Global and Quality Standards.
  • Develop and Audit document systems to assure required documents and records are controlled and retained.
  • Lead communication of Quality Management System (QMS) activities and change points to enhance understanding and awareness for department leadership.
  • Conduct department internal reviews to assess production systems, processes, and requirements of the Quality Management System.
  • Facilitate department activity to effectively execute internal and external audits.
  • Review internal and external audit findings to understand system gaps and apply countermeasure to prevent similar failures.
  • Facilitate or support collaborative problem solving and countermeasure activities as directed to establish continuous improvement.
  • Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training, mentoring, and sharing experience.


Who we are seeking:

Required Experience:

A minimum of 2-6+ years of experience.

Required Education:

BS in related field or 6+ years' experience required.

Other job-specific skills:

Microsoft Office, Honda apps (ISOQuest, PeopleSoft, Kronos, ITSM, MDRS, and PDDA), strong Interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, project management, basic computer skills; ability to learn new computer software.
