The School of Public Health (SPH) is seeking applications for our full-time Senior Academic Advisor position (9704AA SS Pro 4-Academic Advising). Starting salary range is $58,000-$66,000 dependent upon the selected candidate's relevant qualifications and internal equity. Work Arrangements: This position is eligible for a hybrid working schedule with weekly on-campus expectations. Onsite location is 420 Delaware Street SE, Mayo Memorial Building (Mayo), Minneapolis, MN 55455 - East Bank campus. As a top school of public health, SPH is the center of public health research and education for a major part of our country. Working together, SPH faculty, staff and students are dedicated to preventing disease, promoting the health well-being of populations and communities around the world. The person in this role will contribute to the SPH community and a positive student experience by working to recruit and support undergraduate students in the School of Public Health. The Senior Advisor works closely with students, SPH Student Services staff, University transfer admissions staff, and undergraduate campus partners. The Senior Advisor will report to the Director of Student Records, Curriculum, and Compliance, and regularly collaborate on projects related to student recruitment and support. The Public Health BA is the first undergraduate program offered by the School of Public Health and will launch with an initial cohort of up to 35 students in Fall 2023. This program is junior-admitting, Inter-College transfer (ICT) only for the Fall 2023 cohort and ICT, New Advanced Standing (NAS), and Intra-University Transfer (IUT) for Fall 2024 and beyond. The person in this role will regularly collaborate with the Director of Student Records, Curriculum, and Compliance, the Assistant Dean for the Enrolled Student Experience, and other SPH staff to develop the implementation of the processes, policies, opportunities, and signature events for the SPH undergraduate experience.
