Job Summary:

Duties: Recognize, evolve, and adapt technical approaches in response to changes in business and technical requirements for functionality, scalability, and performance. Function as a full-stack software engineer supported with a balance of front-end and back-end knowledge in Object Oriented Languages such as Java and C#. Contribute to development of Spring Cloud Gateway Proxy, micro front ends using Single Page Application frameworks and micro services as part of engagement layer. Design, analyze, and problem solve complex software issues related to micro front-ends and micro services based architecture, leveraging coding expertise in Javascript, React, and Java. Leverage knowledge of JSON, SOAP, and REST application protocols. Engage in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog refinements, planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience in developing, testing, and managing front-end and back-end microservices architecture or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience in developing, testing, and managing front-end and back-end microservices architecture. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated Experience (DE) developing applications using Java/J2EE, Angular, React, spring boot and Web Services; DE working as an engineer with back-end and front-end frameworks, including Single Page Application framework, SpringBoot, Spring Cloud Gateway or Netflix Zuul framework; DE leveraging DevOps tools to manage the building, deployment, and running of development and production applications such as Jenkins, PCF, and with development tools and technologies to support the development life cycle such as Intellij/eclipse, git/Github, and SonarQube; DE working with SQL server and MongoDB; and DE leveraging Splunk and Datadog tools for monitoring application health and performance, Agile methodologies, and SCRUM tools within a team environment.
