Duties:

Designs digital products using advanced tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems.Applies systematic application of scientific and technological knowledge, methods, and experience to the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software. Responsible for running applications in production and achieving KPIs. Participates in inceptions and iteration planning meetings, infusing backlogs with technical input and collaborating with the product manager. Leads and participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups. Leads and participates in retrospectives; demonstrating and encouraging each participant to provide feedback. Partners in collaboration and strategy alignment across product portfolios (cross-product) in partnership with product managers, other peers, and key stakeholders.Serves as an expert on one or more business domains and as a distinguished advocate of multiple technology stacks, and shares such knowledge across organizations. Coaches the team and leads daily practices of using paired programming and test-driven development in writing software and building products. Establishes continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines and practices. Provides support for software products in user environments

Requirements:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years' experience in architecting, designing, implementing, maintaining, and delivering mobile applications, or, alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years' experience in architecting, designing, implementing, maintaining, and delivering mobile applications.

Specific Skills/Other Requirements

Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated Experience ("DE") developing software in different programming languages, including Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin; DE in web and API security including authentication, authorization, OAuth, OWASP, OpenID, and SAML; DE in backend development design and implementation; database (relational, NoSQL, caching); messaging; and big data development, implementation, and optimization; and DE in responsive web front end/single page application development using modular JavaScript including applications targeted for mobile devices.Position is a telecommuting position and can be performed from anywhere in the U.S. Submit resumes at https://www.allstate.jobs/job-search-results/ and use reference number744422

Compensation offered for this role is$134,118.00/yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
