Job Summary:

The Product Manager Lead Consultant is responsible for defining and delivering Allstate's Affordable, Simple and Connected (ASC) property products. The Product Manager Lead Consultant works with Product Line Management to understand and work with others to bring the strategic product vision to life. The Product Manager Lead Consultant develops detailed business requirements necessary to define portions of ASC Property MVP, expansion into additional property products like Homeowners and Specialty Lines or expansion to additional distribution channels like Agency and the Call Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transform product strategic vision into executable business requirements
  • theme or other specific initiative for property products
  • Use stakeholder feedback and data gathering to inform and make decisions about product requirements
  • Working with stakeholders, business partners and technology partners, help to decompose complex problems into smaller manageable tasks by informing the product backlog
  • Coach and mentor members of the team as well as members of the cross-functional partner teams regarding requirements gathering, execution, product implementation, measurement and delivery
  • Anticipate and identify dependencies and obstacles and take steps to mitigate such effects

Education and Experience:
  • 6 or more years of related experience with insurance products
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Functional Skills:
  • Experience working with P&C insurance products and an understanding of how insurance products work on and under the surface
  • Ability to articulate detailed business requirements related to items such as coverage, pricing, features, customer data, product interactions, channel specific needs, claims and more
  • Demonstrated inclination towards action, preferably with experience acting as a liaison between business and technology partners
  • Experience working on ASC product development
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and key stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate complex and innovative concepts to a new product development teams with experience in data-driven decision making
  • Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, virtual, and changing environment

Compensation offered for this role is$82,000.00-$146,125.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
