Intake Coordinator I

JOB SUMMARY:

The Intake Coordinator I supports dedicated Intake Coordinators with communications for physicians and their office support staff. The Intake Coordinator I will have a strong understanding of the patient forward mission and will need to be a collaborator with strong communication skills.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to Supervisor, Intake Coordination, and is based in our Portsmouth, NH location with a hybrid schedule (two days on-site and three days remote).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transactional Activities
  
  
  
  • Data entry
  • Documentation management
  
  
  
  
• Relationship Activities
  
  
  
  • Communications/coordination with smaller, established offices
  • Understand office processes and day-to-day experience
  • Customize communications based on office experience
  
  
  
  
• Use of company specific CRM and ERP software platforms according to SOPs
• Operates under close supervision

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

• 2-year college degree, or related experience
• Health care experience
• Basic knowledge of Medicare, managed care, third party payers and Medicaid is a plus
• Knowledge of Protected Health Information and The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Privacy and Securityguidelines
• Working knowledge of legal and regulatory environment, with corresponding Guidelines (ACCME, AdvaMED, FDA)
• Solid working knowledge in the use of Excel, Word, and Outlook
