General Purpose and Scope of Position:

Safely operate commercial vehicles and provide helicopter ground support for aerial application services. This is a year-round position working outdoors. May also be expected to assist in general warehouse/hangar duties including, but not limited to: stocking and retrieving package and bulk containers, driving a forklift, light maintenance, and general housekeeping.

Key Skills and Abilities Include:



  • Knowledge and/or experience with agricultural/forestry operations (preferred).
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills between both customers and fellow employees.
  • Willingness to operate appropriate material handling equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, and other equipment as required.
  • Specific physical requirements include climbing and ascending or descending from the deck of a truck using a mounted ladder. Must be able to perform loading duties on rough and uneven ground/terrain. Body agility is emphasized.
  • Ability to repetitively bend and lift boxes and bags up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong, yet basic, mathematical skills are required for accurately calculating helicopter loads.
  • Willing and desire to work overtime hours during busy seasons.
  • Some regional traveling is required.

  • Valid driver's license with CDL/or willing to achieve CDL.
  • Be versatile, flexible, and willing. Can effectively multi-task.
  • Able to work and contribute to a team approach with a positive attitude and outlook.
  • Present a professional image to our customers through personal appearance and overall branch and equipment cleanliness.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.


Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:



  • Loading and fueling helicopters in a forestry environment.
  • Working closely with the maintenance crew and pilots.
  • Safe operation of Company vehicles.
  • Maintain all appropriate paperwork/logs for assigned vehicles.
  • Be safety-minded and perform all duties in compliance with WECO's industry-leading safety culture.
  • Meet and complete all WECO regulatory safety requirements and training.
  • Traveling to outlying areas/regions to support aerial applications.
  • Managing inventory.
  • Help maintain warehouse/hangar cleanliness.
  • Report incidents promptly to the supervisor.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Compensation and Benefits:




  • In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $25 - $32 per hour. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
