Redaptive is seeking a Front-End Tech Lead responsible for developing and championing the front-end architecture / development processes and the collaborative development of a highly scalable and real-time energy management solution. This role will interact frequently with a cross-functional and global team of Software Engineers, DevOps, Product Management, and QA. The position is for a React.JS developer who thinks outside the box and can push the limits. We're looking for someone who cares about the quality of code; and who is passionate about end-user-perspective, look-and-feel and ease-of-use. This role will report to the Director of Engineering and Data Science and will work with colleagues across the US and India in real-time which may include occasional early mornings or evenings. Committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Job Responsibilities Continuously improve the front-end software engineering practice by setting best practices, development processes, standard tooling, and a culture of continuous learning / innovation. Willingness to make hands-on code, architecture, and review contributions to our production codebases. End-to-end accountability from understanding requirements/features, implementing enhancements, releasing in production, and ongoing support. Development of high-quality UI components, front-end applications, and application architectures. Consistently identifies and proposes new alternative approaches to create scalable implementations. Job Requirements/Qualifications 5+ years' developing production front-end web applications. Prior leadership or mentoring experience strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred. Relevant work experience and other training will be considered in lieu of a degree. Excellent experience with React.js, Typescript, Redux, and Node.js. Experience in developing visualizations with time-series data. Experience in building browser-based charts, graphs, lists, tables. Working knowledge of integration with backend services and RESTful APIs. Experience with cloud computing and the AWS suite. For example- S3, CloudFront, RDBMS (PostgreSQL), API Gateway. Deep knowledge of general web platform concepts including: HTLML5, CSS, CORS, and caching.
