The Senior Total Rewards Analyst primary responsibility is to assist in the administration of Regional Finance's compensation plan and employee benefit plans. The focus will be on the compensation plan, analysis and projections. This position will aid the Senior Director, Total Rewards to administer compensation policies, maintain compliance with government regulations, and participate in the exchange and collection of market data relevant to agency positions.

The Senior Total Rewards Analyst will also provide administrative support and customer service functions of all benefit programs. Has no supervisory responsibility. Makes non-routine choices within established precedent, considering objectives, under limited supervision. Performs intermediate troubleshooting or analysis; problems require interpretation of data using generally prescribed procedures. Frequent interaction to provide basic information and/or occasional interaction requiring detailed procedural explanations or technical responses.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and administration of compensation programs including base pay, long and short-term incentives, and spot bonuses that align with company objectives for recruiting, retention and employee engagement.
  • Designs and communicates pay structures, grades and guidelines.
  • Advises mangers on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines.
  • Evaluates jobs and determines appropriate grade within the organizational structure.
  • Stay apprised of compensation labor market trends. To remain connected with market competitive data, review and update position descriptions, conduct job evaluations; participate in salary surveys, update pay structures.
  • Ensure all information relevant to compensation analysis is correctly recorded in the HRIS, and perform annual audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Ensure all compensation structures and incentive programs are competitive and support the organizational philosophy and goals of the company.
  • Assists the Senior Total Rewards Analyst with the administration of benefit programs.
  • Performs other related duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or Associated Degree.
  • Five (5+) years of compensation experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of employee compensation plan/design and administration experience.
  • Human Resources - Knowledge of principles and procedures for compensation, benefits, and negotiation. Knowledgeable of compensation and benefits analysis, trends, and best practices as well as practical approaches and solutions
