Overview

The Partner Relationship Manager will be responsible for driving joint initiatives and plans with Strategic and Technology Alliance partners. The individual will work with key stakeholders at CIS and the partner to identify and accomplish sales, marketing, product, and program goals and initiatives that support the growth of the partnership and support our mission. This role is also responsible for developing and strengthening a wide range of relationships within each alliance including C-level/leadership.

What You'll Do

    Manage the relationships between CIS and our partners, maintaining relationships with all levels of partner counterparts
  • Ensure partner alignment metrics are accurately tracked and reported across internal systems (Salesforce)
  • Serve as the internal champion within CIS for the partner, supporting CIS teams cross-functionally such as executive, product, sales, and marketing
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with alliance including the development of mutually beneficial goals, metrics and set of initiatives for sales, enablement, demand generation, and other key GTM elements
  • Deliver CIS enablement presentations and workshops to partner organizations
  • Support the identification, planning, and execution of strategic, business and technology initiatives, leveraging the necessary internal departments to complete said initiatives
  • Evaluate new programs & opportunities with alliance partners and present opportunities to CIS leadership
  • Explore opportunities for CIS's alliance partners to contribute their products, services and abilities to complement CIS's services and mission for higher impact in serving the underserved
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned


What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology or related field*
  • 5+ years in business development, channel operations, partnerships or alliances related to the duties above
  • Several years of experience driving strategic and or technology alliance motions with a variety of partners
  • Understand and grow our influence within Alliance
  • Drive alliance partner planning and metric attainment
  • Proven ability in building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing customers and variety of partners
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate advanced technical concepts to a wide range of both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Public speaking experience and an eagerness to grow this skillset
  • Ability to travel as needed to Partner meetings, trade shows and industry events
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if you Have:

  • Background in Cybersecurity
  • Familiar with CRM applications (Salesforce)
  • Partner certifications

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate's degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
