This Opportunity:
The purpose of this role is to provide advice to Palladium staff
in relation to the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and support all
business development and operational aspects regarding the MCC as a client and
for MCC funded business opportunities. This is a consultancy.

Reporting and Supervision:
The role will report directly to the Director,
Strategic Growth with the following reporting requirements:
- Attendance of all weekly meetings
- A monthly management report on business development KPI's
- Exception reports as and when required
- Quarterly reports in relation to business development pipeline, results, as well as inputs for the firm's quarterly results statement
- Any other reporting requested
Primary
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support all
MCC related business development tasks and coordinate business development
ensuring profitable business development strategies that drive business growth
across all Palladium practice areas. This needs to be achieved with minimal
business risks and with due consideration for corporate and statutory
compliance requirements
- Provide
support for the development and implementation of Palladium's MCC business
development strategy
- Support staff
with relationship building, strategic partnerships and growth of Palladium's business regarding MCC-funded opportunities
- Identification and coordination of
business development of MCC-related opportunities
- Support Portfolios develop and grow their MCC
business development pipeline through effective and proactive
identification, prioritization, management, and reporting of MCC-funded
opportunities
- Support
with monitoring of progress and outputs on new MCC-related bids, tenders
and targets, including revenue and margins for these as needed
- Collaborate with regional business
partners, portfolio leads, and pricing teams to develop winning commercial
and pricing strategies for MCC proposals
- Facilitate and oversee collaboration
across the organization and promote one Palladium culture and coherence in
implementation
- Work
closely with proposal teams to provide technical inputs and write
technical sections of the proposal when necessary
- Build strategic partnerships aimed at broadening
Palladium's value proposition to the MCC
- Liaise and coordinate as needed with GISI suit of
companies
- Working
closely with Palladium hub offices in Brisbane, London, and Washington
D.C.
- Contribute
on the development of thought leadership pieces as part of positioning
Palladium for more business opportunities regarding the MCC
Key
Competencies Required:
- Works with respect and dignity for all colleagues
- Substantial experience in working with the MCC and/or capturing and developing MCC funded proposals
- A deep understanding of MCC and/or MCA bidding process and compliance
- Knowledge of economic development trends, integration of gender and social inclusion and climate change
- Previous experience in managing MCC projects desired
- Previous employment at MCC or in-depth engagement with the MCC
- Substantial experience in marketing of services and developing business plans
- Ability to develop high level strategic relationships in an international environment
- Strong networking and partnership management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, with multiple/simultaneous bid efforts, and across time zone challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
