Our ambitious change makers save lives every day through their commitment to Care with Respect.Your Role With Us:As an integral part of the surgical team, you will ensure that the operating room environment is safe and sterile, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize positive patient outcomes. Your passion for patient care and safety will drive your preparation of sterile solutions and medications used in surgery as you assemble and operate instruments, equipment and supplies while demonstrating empathy and utilizing strong communication skills.We staff 2 STs at all times to cover both scheduled and urgent OR needs. The STs are able to facilitate both ORs running simultaneously when needed, and are available 24/7 to support all delivery needs, such as supplying specific instruments when requested by delivering providers. STs will participate in three procedures: cesarean section, tubal ligation and D&C for retained placentas/postpartum hemorrhage.
