Global Pricing & Contracts Analyst

Novocure is looking for a Global Pricing & Contract Analyst to advise the pricing and market access team to make the best negotiation strategy through data analysis. The pricing data analyst will also implement and monitor the negotiated contracts across the portfolio of Novocure oncology products.

The role will drive alignment across products, indications, and regions through cross-functional collaboration and a solid foundation in research and data analytics. The role will closely collaborate with the Global Market Access and Value team, Global Revenue Operations team, Legal team, and Finance team to ensure new contracts follow the company's global pricing strategy. The role will also have the responsibility of contract implementation and performance monitoring. Those responsibilities include coordinating the contract implementation workflow, identifying potential gaps, recommending solutions, and sharing best practices.

Novocure operates with global function integration of its business functions. The Global Pricing analyst will report to the Global Pricing team. The ideal candidate will reside somewhere in the Eastern Time Zone in the United States of America due to this being a global posiition and team and because of the need to work within multiple time zones and schedules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Facilitate access to data:

    • Extract data from various databases and manipulate data using advanced Excel features
    • Develop and maintain a contract performance monitoring process


  • Enable smart decisions based on complex analyses:

    • Evaluate the global impact of local pricing events using the international referencing pricing
    • Support pricing managers in pricing data analysis, operations, optimization, and problem resolution
    • Evaluate alternative pricing structure and strategic contracting opportunities through data analysis


  • Work closely with Finance and Revenue-operation team to ensure all discounts and rebates are appropriately captured and accounted for in our pricing system: SAP



QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:



  • Qualifications:
  • Degree in Finance, Engineer, Business, or any other relevant discipline
  • Proven ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights and coherent strategies
  • Strong Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on Excel
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills


  • Knowledge:


  • At least two years of previous product pricing experience within a similar position in the medical device or pharmaceutical industries
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; any further languages are of benefit (French is an asset)
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, growing, deadline-driven startup environment
  • Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration
  • Planning/Scheduling: Handle multiple projects and priorities to meet required deadlines
  • Attitude & Enthusiasm: Must have a positive, "can do" attitude
  • Dependability/Perseverance: always willing to go the extra mile to complete projects on schedule. Committed to Novocure and the position
  • Flexibility: Can accept change and is flexible toward change. Counted on to achieve objectives and be flexible to take on other tasks when required
