About this Position:

The primary goal of the Assistant Manager, Electrified Vehicles is to free up management for big picture, develop and manage the launch strategy and then to support the CR-V Fuel Cell. The Assistant Manger's portfolio responsibilities will include managing an AHM owned fleet of Clarity BEV units, Clarity FCEV units plus units for CR-V FCEV. These "portfolio" management responsibilities include: the production ordering, execution of dealer agreements, distribution to dealers and leasing through AHFC.

Responsibilities include:



  • Execute launch strategy for CR-V FCEV and achieve sales plan. One component is to maintain a position of excess demand with customers identified for all production orders at N-4. These vehicles are currently scheduled to be distributed through appointed dealers in CA. Dealers in other markets will be considered.
  • Manage the big picture processes for engagement of municipalities and other government agencies for electrified fleet. Coordinate and provide support for Fleet Management Group with non-government & municipal electrified fleet opportunities.
  • Direct and oversee Analyst for lease end dismantling with a new focus on resource recirculation.
  • Coordinate and support electrified launch activities across the organization (AHM, AHFC, etc.).
  • Manage Fuel Cell Budget. Includes the management of the H2 fuel cards, rental program and other activities.



Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:



  • 7-10 years of automotive experience, preferably with field experience and excellent understanding of both the retail dealer network and OEM responsibilities in product development and marketing


Required Education:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • MBA a plus


Desired skills:



  • Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Strong presentation skills

  • Competitive Base Salary: $89,100 - $133,600

    • Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to, geographic location, work experience, education, etc.
