MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Four (4) or more years direct experience with:


    • Working as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master
    • Driving efforts to build, groom, and define backlogs
    • Designing efficient ways to break down tasks
    • Executing meetings, to include stand ups, sprint review, release planning, etc.
    • Coordinating with product owners, functional leads, and other customers to understand and prioritize development lifecycle activities and deliverables
    • Agile / Scrum coaching
    • Developing processes for development and non-development team


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills: relationship building
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Active DoD Secret clearance


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related Scientific or Technical discipline from an accredited University
  • Agile / Scrum Certifications, to include one or more of:


    • Scrum Master
    • Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist or other SAFe certification
    • Project Management Professional Certification
    • Additional technical certifications a plus


  • Knowledge of Atlassian Suite, including Jira or Confluence or equivalent
  • Ability to understand technical details of software development and installation, test execution and test management, common networking, and routine system administration activities
  • Experience directly supporting Navy and/or Tactical Radio teams
  • Experience with test management best practices and software (e.g., TestRail, TestLink)
  • Desire for leading and executing process improvement efforts

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Leads efforts to support multiple engineering teams move into Agile / Scrum processes
  • Works with team leads and subject matter experts to create backlogs, assist with task breakdowns, and coaching the team in agile practices
  • Assists with the development of agile / scrum processes for large engineering team
  • Acts as lead scrum master for 1-3 teams
  • Develops reports, briefs, and other accompanying documentation needed for stakeholders
  • Drives adoption of processes and tools
  • Enforces processes within the team and follows up with individual contributors and leads when deviations to the process occur
