Job Summary:

The senior lead auditor role has the responsibility for overall planning, execution and reporting on individual audit projects assigned as lead. The lead auditor must provide the appropriate level of project planning, delegation of work, supervision and review of staff work to ensure the project follows the audit execution process and that professional standards are met. The lead auditor will be responsible for leading strategic and complex audits, working in a collaborative environment. The lead auditor should leverage their understanding of business processes, risks and controls to deliver reviews that help support company objectives and risk management.

This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit planning and execution, including risk assessment, project planning, and control evaluation of complex business processes or strategic initiatives

  • Conclude on evaluations and develop reports detailing audit results and findings with guidance from leadership

  • Effectively communicate thoughts, express ideas, and lead audit client meetings and internal team discussions

  • Lead audit projects involving multiple staff members, coordinate and direct the work of team members on project assignments, and provide performance feedback throughout the project

  • Provide ongoing internal control consulting

  • Partner with audit leadership in support of department initiatives and projects

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job does not have supervisory duties.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3 or more years of related experience leading operation audits.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • CPA, CIA, CISA or other audit-related certification or study is preferred

Functional Skills:
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate complex business topics via written/verbal methods

  • Strong project management skills

  • Solid understanding of risks and controls, including fundamental operational and IT control concepts

  • Proficiency in business-related computing applications (e.g., Microsoft Office applications and data analytics/reporting applications)

  • Strong understanding of Internal Audit standards and methodologies

Compensation offered for this role is$68,500.00 - $100,000.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
