Classification Specialist

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Declassification Specialist. The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional, who can utilize their excellent interpersonal communication, high attention to detail, energy, and self-starter skills performing activities necessary to help drive forward mission critical National Security programs. Our teams help address complex challenges to develop solutions so that integrated, digital transformation solutions will be developed to enable rapid, reliable, and secure information sharing across the Intelligence Community (IC).

Responsibilities

• Assess the classification and markings of classified and unclassified products-including a wide range of items such as analytic reports, IT code, budget spreadsheets, and more-in accordance with client's policies and procedures, and security classification guides, and explaining those determinations to leaders and the workforce.
• Reviewing various products to recommend approval or denial, in whole or in part,
• requests for public disclosure and explaining those determinations to leaders and the
• workforce.
• Reviewing records to determine if they can be declassified.
• Developing and maintaining records for tracking the status and adjudication of materials.
• Planning, coordinating, and documenting the client's classification, declassification, and prepublication determinations.
• Develop and implement of foreign disclosure/release intelligence policies and guidance.

Minimum Requirements

• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• Ability to maintain and update IC Marking Systems Register and Manual
• Consult and coordinate with other stakeholders and organizations to ensure consistent application of public disclosure policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with IDSCLOSE application
• Develop and implement strategies to identify information protection issues and problems, including those resulting from unauthorized disclosure, inadvertent release,
• declassification, and the collective effect of release to mitigate those issues and problems.

• Skill Level: Journeyman - B.S. with 4-8 years of experience
• Skill Level: Senior - B.S. with 8-12 years' experience
