Job Summary:
Academic Partnerships, a rapidly growing company in the eLearning industry, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Marketing Operations team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is looking to apply and develop their project management and process improvement skills within a marketing department. The ideal candidate will work cross functionally to ensure the smooth operation of marketing change requests, new initiatives, and growth efforts. This person must be a highly organized individual with meticulous attention to detail who can track multiple projects and competing priorities at once as well as facilitate communication between multiple functional areas within and outside of marketing.
Main Responsibilities:


  • Manage the implementation project plan including implementation schedule, outstanding items, project risks and escalation processes
  • Lead projects from contract signing through the full implementation of sites to support an accelerated online learning model
  • Maintain clear communication with execution teams as well as leadership across departments
  • Understand the cross-functional team dynamics required to complete projects
  • Document business process architecture efficiently and in ways that facilitate implementation of solutions
  • Manage the internal cross-functional AP teams to maintain timelines, assess risks of delays, and implement process improvements
  • Lead meetings and collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage and mentor team to help them reach their highest potential as individuals and as a team
  • Deliver presentations to leaders as needed for implementing process changes, ongoing projects, and impact/delay analysis
  • Advise Senior Management on improvement opportunities
  • Manage the project launch process including coordinating of cross-functional teams for successful projects
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field is required
  • PMP Certification is preferred
  • 8 years marketing project management experience is desired, preferably in online degree program management
  • Experience working in Higher Education is desired
  • Demonstrated experience in consulting and/or training and development; system implementation, and requirements gathering is required
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects and project teams simultaneously with a history of delivering on schedule and within budget
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively on multiple large scale projects with staff at all levels
  • Flexible, self-starter who is willing to take initiative in a fast-paced and dynamic business culture
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate professionals to operate as a cohesive group in a matrixed environment
  • Proven track record of strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with a cross functional team that is geographically dispersed and of different professional backgrounds (i.e. Technology teams, Creative groups, Agents, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Wrike and PowerPoint required, Visio preferred
