MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in relative field or combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years experience in defense life-cycle logistics support of electronic systems to include: logistics management, principles, practices and processes
  • Professional communication and organizational skills
  • Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • 4+ years experience in forecasting and inventory control
  • Database entry/management

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Identifies, ships and tracks all equipment and material requirements supporting Enterprise Network implementation and integration programs
  • Transitions equipment from integration area to shipping location, confirms order fulfillment, preps and secures items for transport, updates inventory records, creates shipment requests in CMPRO, communicates tracking information and confirms delivery to end location
  • Aides in screening projected deployment schedule and BOMs for possible material shortages and suggests solutions/substitutions
  • Troubleshoots any transportation issues with government logistics (delayed pickup/delivery, lost freight, delivery shortages, etc.)
  • Assists in monitoring and receiving incoming contract material, uploading items into multiple inventory tracking systems and transporting to storage locations
  • Ensures inventory accuracy by updating receiving and shipping information for all new and returned equipment in both CMPRO and customer-provided database
  • Assists in monitoring integration requirements, ensures proper material quantities are acquired in order to meet forecasted deployment schedule
  • Provides total life cycle management support in additional areas including, but not limited to: material acquisition, data calls, shipping and inventory reports, reverse TCN's, DD149 signatures, inventory audits, database and configuration management, etc.
