Physician Medical Group of San Jose, part of Optum, is growing, and we are looking for a Primary Care Physician to join our expanding team in San Jose, CA.

POSITION DETAILS:



  • Employed & benefited opportunity!
  • Full Time Schedule
  • Outpatient only - no weekend evening/weekend calls
  • Clinic Hours Mon-Fi 8a-5p
  • Patient Schedule: Average of 18 - 22 patients per day
  • Dedicated support staff of nurses and medical assistants
  • EMR: Web MD

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Work with the team to provide patients with primary care services within the standard of care.
  • Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
  • Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications:



  • Unrestricted CA Physician License
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • Excellent time management skills
  • BLS, ACLS certification
  • EMR Proficient
  • Spanish-speaking is a plus!
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $244,000 to $341,300. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
