Key Qualifications Excellent team player whom is self motivated, proactive, and has a high attention to detail. Fluent in software development processes. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong technical background in Electrical or Software Engineering. Deep understanding of verification, quality assurance, and release flow. Understands and works well in a rapidly evolving development program. Remains flexible, eager to learn, and works well in times of uncertainty. Proven ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across a variety of business units and across different timezones. Able to to follow through and drive activities for quick resolution to issues. Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities. Ability to organize and participate in requirements or design brainstorming sessions. Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. Description Within the Audio Products Firmware group, build EPM is charged with the creation and care of the technology which underlies Software Engineering's build infrastructure. The ideal candidate can act as a full partner with a large and diverse group of internal teams in order to ensure the continued evolution and availability of critical services. We are looking for project managers who can thrive in a fast-paced workplace where both individual drive and team collaboration are the keys to success. Your day to day tasks will involve monitoring software builds to support multiple test vehicles. The role will require collaborating with quality assurance, feature development and system integration teams to track critical changes and work with cross functional partners to design and update release and acceptance criteria for different stages of the project. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are must-haves for any candidate. Being a self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership is also important as the team is looking for the kind of person who can dive right into a problem and get it taken care of with cross functional partners without having to be asked to do so. As a member of the firmware team, you will be helping to care for a system that serves the passions and needs of many tens of millions of customers in an increasingly service-dependent world, so we're looking for somebody who can be equally passionate. Candidate must have demonstrated ability to organize and manage rapid co-ordinated response efforts and should have great attention to detail. Education & Experience BS/MS Engineering or equivalent work experience. Candidates with an engineering education have been successful in this role. Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $113,500 and $207,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
