Description:
  • Identify learning and development needs of Allstate's global broad-based leadership population (from first time managers to director levels) and build development programs that enable and strengthen the leadership pipeline.
  • Design consistent, effective and scalable end-to-end learning solutions; focusing on building enterprise leadership capabilities to fuel our Shared Purpose Behaviors and Transformative Growth strategy.
  • Support the strategic direction of our employee value proposition, performance management and talent development strategies including operations, delivery, and measurement.
  • Partner closely with subject matter experts to understand learning needs and deliver blended learning solutions that are compelling and relevant.
  • Requires the ability to program manage as well as build an immersive learning experience for Allstate leaders.
Key Responsibilities:

Supports the designing of the new comprehensive learning strategy aimed to supportour organizational priorities of Transformational Growth. The 2023-2024 learning strategy includes:

  • Contributes to the development of Broad-Based Leadership and blended learning strategy
  • Serves as program manager to ensure team is accountable for quality and speed to market
  • Provide direction and deliverables for the instructional design, training content development, and learning objectives incorporating adult learning principles, design thinking, and instructional design methodologies and best practices (i.e., ADDIE or SAM)
  • Ramps up quickly on Learning & Development related softwares, Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring tools (i.e., Articulate or similar) and other SaaS products
  • Collaborates with Talent Management team members, content Subject Matter Experts and department stakeholders to design, develop, and implement online and blended learning courses that improve the employee learning experience and engagement. Updates and maintains learning courses and Learning Management System (LMS) to support evolving business priorities and learner needs
  • Supports the creation of virtual and Instructor-Led Trainings (ILT) as well as curates quality e-learning materials that align closely with the learning and developmental needs by region, department, and job/skill levels
  • Communicates and elevates Leadership Development and Talent Planning vision, value, and latest learning solutions to key stakeholder groups by leveraging multiple engagement tools and social intranet sites
  • Contributes to measurement of training progress, effectiveness, and feedback using data insights
Qualifications:
  • 5-10 + years of learning and development experience, human resources experience, or a combination of both
  • 3+ years of performance consulting and creating training objectives and content experience
  • Evidence of excellence in course and graphic design, microlearning, UX design, LX Design or equivalent work experience that promotes learning
  • Experience using technologies to design learning materials in a digital learning environment and with educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring tools (i.e., Articulate or Evolve or similar) and other SaaS products, or similar technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, must be able to tell their story
  • Project management and process design skills a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships, build consensus and credibility with key stakeholders (global HR leaders, business groups, managers, vendors, etc.) in ambiguous situations where processes are complex and often not clearly defined
  • Strong knowledge of cross-cultural norms and experience building inclusive programs and strategies based on industry best-practices
  • Proactive problem solver, detail oriented, creative, coachable, and a self-starter

Compensation offered for this role is$102,500.00-$170,375.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
