Performs installation and repair work involving rough, finish, and general carpentry related to the maintenance of the city's elevated infrastructure; builds and repairs toolboxes and various types of ladders and other equipment; works from plans and sketches; operates both hand and powered woodworking equipment; keeps job records; performs related duties. Some duties may require working at heights and in confined spaces. May be occasionally required to work evenings and weekends. Minimum Qualifications 1. Five years of full-time satisfactory experience as a Carpenter acquired within the last 10 years; or Preferred Skills
Possession of a driver's license valid in the State of New York. Employees must maintain the license during their employment. 55a Program
