Ochsner Health - DEPARTMENT of OPHTHALMOLOGY Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible ophthalmologist with ASOPRS fellowship training in oculoplastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery. The physician would be joining a seasoned & busy oculoplastic surgeon who performs functional and cosmetic surgery. The position includes medical student and ophthalmology resident teaching responsibilities in the Department of Ophthalmology. Clinical research is encouraged. Position Highlights: The Department of Ophthalmology includes 31 ophthalmologists and optometrists who provide care at our facilities located in the New Orleans, North Shore, River Parishes, and Baton Rouge regions. We offer a full range of services for the treatment of advanced eye disease and corrective surgery, providing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for patients of all ages. A premier regional leader in ophthalmic care and education, the department facilitates the training and development of future ophthalmologists, optometrists, and support staff by participation in Ophthalmology residency training, the Ochsner Optometry residency program and the Delgado Ophthalmic Technician Program.
