Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to gain experience while providing support to essential Operations and Security Services (OSS) functions. This role will coordinate closely with OSS leaders and key stakeholders to assist in developing and implementing centralized departmental resources. They will collaborate with team members to understand and document standardized operating procedures (SOPs), standard document repositories, and create measures and metrics that support the status of key performance indicators, which ensures relevancy, accuracy, consistency, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized and analytical, with a strong interest in data analysis and data visualization.

What You'll Do

    Collaborate with stakeholders to develop efficient and centralized data reference resources
  • Creating, editing, and collaborating on standing operating procedures and other management documents
  • Creating, editing, and collaborating in developing and reporting on relevant measures and metrics
  • Assist with collecting, inputting, and maintaining key data points by working in close collaboration with the team's data owners to ensure materials are up-to-date
  • Support internal review of departmental resource allocations, especially as related to meeting management and internal communications
  • Identify mechanisms for improving document management and assist with implementing best practices, including but not limited to file naming conventions, version control, and resource archiving and consolidation
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned


What You'll Need

  • Associates degree, completion of two years of an undergraduate program and good standing in the program, or equivalent professional experience
  • Highly organized, thorough and detail oriented
  • Interest in data analysis, document management, and cataloguing
  • Strong understanding of fundamental data analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of best practices for file management and archiving
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • The position is open to U.S. citizens and requires a favorably adjudicated DHS Fitness Review for Public Trust Positions**

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • Experience or familiarity with data visualization preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel preferred
