Overview

We seek a detailed and intrepid Marketing Operations Manager to facilitate and optimize our marketing automation platforms/processes while leading a team of internal and external automation specialists in close coordination with the Salesforce team and Sales Operations. As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will own Pardot/Marketing Cloud and help us integrate and implement all marketing technology and campaigns within the platform. This position facilitates and manages the marketing lead funnel through the architecture of emails, nurture campaigns, landing pages, campaign strategy, automation strategy, and attribution promptly and with attention to detail. The Marketing Operations Manager is an expert user of sales and marketing management software, quickly adapting to new tools, identifying process improvements, and outlining new strategies.

What You'll Do

    Generating and maintaining mailing lists and list hygiene within the Pardot/Marketing Cloud
  • Facilitating personalization, including segmentation within the Pardot/Marketing Cloud
  • Creating landing pages and email templates
  • Providing and facilitating long-term email strategy, general nurture, and customer engagement campaigns
  • Looking for tactics to improve conversion metrics in automation and on landing pages
  • Help to implement and maintain attribution strategy and define the reports required to track provided KPIs
  • Creating and managing existing marketing automation for all leads within the Pardot/Marketing Cloud
  • Collaborating with Sales Operations and IT teams to maintain data integrity throughout the Tech Stack, and optimize and develop new architectures and processes
  • Monitoring email engagement and deliverability ratings
  • Conducting regular A/B tests on emails and landing pages, providing recommendations for actions based on the results
  • Facilitating the general health and awareness around the marketing tech stack specifically related to Pardot/Marketing Cloud
  • Facilitating and implementing compliance with global privacy standards, such as GDPR
  • Participating in creative ideation meetings with the team
  • Lead, mentor and coach a team of internal staff and independent contractors
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders, providing education and recommendations that meet their specific audience's needs
  • Other duties as assigned


What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent*
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in marketing or advertising
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Pardot, or a comparable marketing automation platform
  • Demonstrated experience working with and/or leading cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding and skill in email marketing best practices
  • Expert user of marketing automation and customer relationship platforms
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • Working understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Expert user of Pardot/Marketing Cloud
  • Accreditations in any of the following: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
  • Knowledge of platform integration and implementation
  • Strong writing/editing skillset

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate's degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
