Senior Insurance Product Analyst III (Remote)

That's why we're looking for an innovative Senior Insurance Product Analyst IIIto join our growing PPM & Commercial team. As a Sr. Insurance Product Analyst III, you will recommend and implement new and complex pricing and product design strategies for assigned states or countrywide. You will also lead special product development projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recommend and implement new and complex pricing and product design strategies
  • Build analytic models designed to automate critical business decisions
  • Assess and define long-term strategic goals for business intelligence development in conjunction with other business units
  • Assess tools and practices used in the industry and recommend areas for investment in additional training, including development of intermediate training
  • Research new analytic techniques and data sources and integrate them into the regular processes of the department
  • Advocate company position in legal and compliance matters
  • Take ownership of high-complexity business problems, plan items, product features or product lines
  • Adhere to GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles
  • Meet attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and coworkers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing and speaking
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Must have the following education and experience:
    • Meet company educational requirements
    • Must have passed or be actively pursuing one course from the PPM Continuing Education curriculum within the past 12 months
    • Must have completed one of the following:
      • GEICO Certified Underwriter
      • Associate in Personal Insurance (API)
      • Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
      • (4) Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) courses
      • (1) Coursera Designation related to business or underwriting
      • Master's degree in business or related field

Annual Salary

$98,000.00 - $154,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
