Job Description
Although this position is primarily onsite at one of our Truliant locations, this position has a flexible work arrangement that gives you the opportunity to work remotely occasionally, or according to an established schedule determined by your manager. Purpose of the Job The Manager, Business Systems Analysis is a key IT leadership position who will lead a team of Business Systems Analysts to create an effective conduit between the Credit Union business stakeholders, the Credit Union IT staff and 3rd party technology vendors. The Manager will lead the Business Systems Analysis (BSA) team to translate business needs into technical solution concepts and specifications. The Manager is also responsible for leading the team to coordinate and complete the Quality Assurance testing lifecycle to ensure technology implementations and upgrades are defect free. The Manager will enable the Credit Union business teams to achieve goals through the delivery of sound technology solutions by collaborating with other CU technology teams and 3rd party technology vendors to align work efforts. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall management and support of a defined technology portfolio of business applications or products.
- Serves as a liaison between the Business Systems Analyst team, strategic business partners and technology vendors.
- Leads the Business Systems Analyst team to understand business strategies and achieve technology deliverables per project delivery schedules.
- Manages system upgrades and releases for all applications supported by Enterprise Business Architecture by coordinating with other IT teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.
- Drives quality product implementations and upgrades by leveraging the QA testing lifecycle.
- Develops implementation plans that ensure minimal impact on Credit Union business operations.
- Provides application and production support as requested for all applications supported by Enterprise Business Architecture.
- Partners with the Architecture team to understand how technology may be best applied to solve business problems.
- Recruits and builds a high-performing Business Systems Analyst team through coaching, fostering accountability and teamwork and effectively delegating work to ensure successful achievement of goals.
- Proactively works with 3rd party technology vendors, business partners, and other IT teams to drive opportunities to increase operational efficiency through the proper use of applications supported by Enterprise Business Architecture.
- Collaborates with Information Security, Database and Infrastructure Services teams to configure and administer applications/products for reliability and security for all users and members.
- Collaborates with Development and Architecture teams to ensure proper integration and/or the development of additional functionality between assigned applications and other business applications.

- Must have strong PC skills, with proficiency of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Must have ability to understand all business processes within the Credit Union, as well as understanding the underlying technologies supporting those business processes
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills required, with the ability to research issues, summarize findings, and recommend resolution options
- Must have strong critical thinking skills and experience to communicate change impact analysis
- Must be detail oriented and well organized
- Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently in fast paced and complex business environment under minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a general office environment
- Must be flexible and able to shift resources and priorities as required
- Should possess a strong commitment to providing excellent service to Truliant's members, both internal and external
Physical Requirements
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and stooping required
- Must be able to sit at a desk for moderate periods of time and use a computer
- Must be able to moderately lift or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds
- Must have the ability to be on-call 24x7 with a one hour response, work flexible, extended hours as well as weekends and overtime as needed
Education and Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or a related field required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- A minimum of five years of leadership experience supporting critical application software (on premise and SaaS)
- Ten years of Business Systems Analyst experience in the financial services industry or with core systems may be considered in lieu of the years of leadership experience requirement
- A working knowledge of the fundamentals of the financial industry is required
- Project Management or Business Analyst certification preferred
