Operating Title Teaching Lecturer in Anatomy & Physiology
Job Description
Plymouth State University invites applications for Teaching Lecturers in Anatomy & Physiology I and II lecture and lab for Fall of 2023 and Spring of 2024. All courses are taught 100% in person on Plymouth State's main campus in Plymouth, NH.

For lecture courses, at least a Master's degree in Biology, Health Science, Science Education or a related field and experience teaching at the high school or collegiate level is required. Experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology or a related course is preferred.

For lab courses, a Bachelor's degree with progress towards a Masters or Bachelors degree with experience teaching at the high school or collegiate level is required. Individuals with degrees in Biology, Health Science, Science Education, or a related field and/or experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology labs are preferred. Qualified applicants without experience will be considered and training provided upon hiring.

Several positions are available for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024. Additional opportunities exist teaching Genetics labs and Introductory Biology labs. Please see the relevant listings at jobs.usnh.edu.

Preferred Qualifications
For lecture courses, experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology or a related course is preferred.

For lab courses, a Master's degree or higher in Biology, Health Science, Science Education, or a related field and experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology labs is preferred.

Experience with Canvas learning system and teaching as part of a team is also preferred.
Salary Information
Compensation is on a per-credit basis.
