ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervises the daily duties of the EVS 1, EVS 2 Team Members.
2. Assign EVS 1, EVS 2 Team Members daily shift duties and maintain schedule.
3. Lead, train and instruct EVS 1, EVS 2 in emergency drills and operations.
4. Constantly on watch for any unsafe conditions, notifying Executive Housekeeper or Hotel Manager of any deficiencies.
5. Conduct daily inspections of all casino spaces.
6. Maintain working inventory of all EVS supplies
7. Maintain control and inventory of all EVS equipment,
8. Accept responsibility/ownership for accomplishing new and different tasks/requests.
9. Giving Feedback, Coaching, Mentoring, Fostering Teamwork among Team Members.
10. Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as Tropicana's internal controls, policies, and procedures.
11. Must be able to tolerate area of second hand smoke
12. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
13. Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends.
14. Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises Team members attached to the EVS/Hotel Operations Department. Individual will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies/procedures and applicable statutes. Responsibilities include involvement in interviewing, selecting and training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing their work; appraising their performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members, as directed; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS: One year of Maritime and management/supervisor service preferable.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred. An individual inclined to be a student of leadership/management and professional Janitorial knowledge preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Indiana Gaming Commission License.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to understand and communicate (verbal and written) in English

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
