Job Summary: As a Slot Technicians Shift Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the electronic gaming devices ("EGDs") including, but not limited to, inventory levels, budgeting demands, regulatory requirements, and team member performance Duties and Responsibilities:
- Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
- Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
- Manage all aspects of slot technical needs, including but not limited to safeguarding, maintain, repairing, and monitoring all EGDs
- Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals
- Communicate and work closely with the Director, vendors, suppliers, and team members to execute slot projects, such as machine moves, equipment installations, and equipment upgrades
- Collaborate with the Director to develop and provide complete ROI analysis when recommending new slot purchases or upgrades
- Mentor team members to provide superior guest service
- Represent the department at all official functions and company events, including committee and staff meetings
- Develop and maintain a welcoming, safe, professional, and friendly work environment
- Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action
- Oversee the overall integrity of slot games
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
- High school or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Must have knowledge of all casino game rules
- Must have knowledge of all applicable gaming regulations
- Must have five years of experience in slot operations, particularly in a leadership role
- Experience with scheduling and budgeting in a casino environment
- Strong organizational, planning, and supervisory skills are required
- Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally required to move or push up to 500 pounds
- Frequently required to push, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, and twist, as well as reach overhead
- Requires visual acuity to perform close-up activities and peripheral oversight
- Requires manual dexterity to conduct repairs on slot machines
