Candidates must have an MD and be board certified in Internal Medicine, preferably with board eligibility or certification in a subspecialty, and must have demonstrated strong potential to conduct independent research of importance and high quality. Successful candidates will be appointed in a relevant division of the Department at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Medicine, depending on the past experience of the individual. Successful candidates will be eligible for faculty membership in the UCSF Biomedical Sciences graduate program. Outstanding research space and generous start-up packages will be provided.
