- Be a working foreman while leading the concrete crew to complete concrete work
- Possess the skills necessary to fully install scopes per the plans and specifications: paving, site work, retaining walls, earthwork, drilled foundations, building foundations, elevated concrete, and tilt wall concrete
- Reviews construction documents and coordinates construction ahead of the work going in place
Provide input on jobsite logistics, organization, plant layout, equipment and manpower utilization - Perform construction layout using surveying practices and equipment to establish elevations and layout from control points
- Walk with inspectors for all required inspections. Document any comments of the inspector and fix all noted deficiencies prior to pouring concrete .Document all corrections to the deficiencies
- Lead all concrete pours. Complete a pre-pour plan & checklist for all pours. Delegate and manage all concrete pour responsibilities efficiently
- Pre-plan work including monitoring how the weather, wind, heat, or cold could affect the pour and the curing of the concrete throughout the entire pour
- Inspect installation of all embeds and anchor bolts prior to, during, and after the concrete pour
- Participate in interviews and recommend hires for trade staff
- Supervise and develop trade employees, as assigned, including providing input on or completing performance appraisals
- Address staff needs and resolve problems. Provide staff feedback, reward, and discipline as required
- Develop work schedules and crew assignments
- Completes time sheets, production sheets, extra work tickets, daily construction reports, and required safety paperwork daily and submits to the office
- Participate in the activities of subcontractors and suppliers
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, backhoe, skidsteer, excavator, compactors, and construction hoist
- Assist with the overall site safety and quality programs as required and ensuring Trade employees/subcontractors compliance with Turner standards and all applicable safety codes, regulations, and jobsite security
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees
- Ability to travel and accommodate night and weekend work as needed
- Display a high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations

- Seven (7) years minimum experience required and minimum of (2) year exposure to supervisory responsibilities
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
- Moderate technical abilities to utilize a smart phone/ipad for communication requirements that come with this role
- Proficiency in EH&S applications
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
- Must be able to comprehend safety instructions and signage, communicate effectively in emergency situations and understand written safety instructions from tool and equipment manufacturers
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- Valid driver's license
